         改革开放后，中国人民实现了以往任何一个历史时期都未曾有过的自由流动，从内陆到沿海、从乡村到城市，哪里有机会就去哪里，去学习，去奋斗。从放牛娃到科学家、从打工妹到CEO，每个人都是一部奋斗史。正是这种充分的流动和自由，激发了每一个人的创造性。2021年，在全面建成小康社会的历史档口，我们以此为奋斗的国人画像。

 

      何谓“流动的中国”，这是导演组两年来不断思考和讨论的问题。是春运和外出务工那样的空间流动；是人才的流动或是金钱的流动；又是梦想的流动或是职业的流动。我们按照这样的设想去寻找选题，去跟踪拍摄，最终找到了许多打动我们的故事。这些人物和故事既平行前进，又彼此交叉，层次互异的年龄、不同的口音表明他们所处的境遇不同，但他们在许多时刻里，是精神上的同盟者。

 

     《流动的中国》共4集，分别以“家乡”“坐标”“答卷”“追梦”为主题展现人口的迁移、人与城市的关系、人和时代的联系以及个人的梦想，讲述普通国人的流动故事，展现这个时代下中国人的精神面貌。

 

      该项目是国家广播电视总局“记录新时代”精品项目，并入选总局“十四五”纪录片重点选题规划。

After Reform and Opening-up, the Chinese people have reached an unprecedented state of free flow. From inland to coastal areas, from rural areas to cities, they can go wherever they have the opportunity to learn and struggle. Cowherd, scientist, factory girl, CEO, everyone write their own history of struggle. And creativity has been inspired due to the mobility and freedom. In 2021, at the historical stage of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, we painted a picture of the struggling Chinese people.

 

What is "China in Motion" is a question that we have been pondering and discussing for two years. It is the spatial flow like Chinese Spring Festival transportation and migrant workers tide, and also the flow of talents, money, careers and dreams. We followed this assumption to find topics, to track and shoot characters, and finally found many touching stories. These stories go parallel meanwhile cross each other. The characters’ different ages and accents indicate that they are in different situations, but they are spiritual allies in many moments.

 

The film has four episodes, with the themes of "Home", "Coordinates", "Answers" and "Dreams" respectively, to show the migration of population, the relationship between people and cities, the connection between people and the times, and personal dreams, tell the stories of the ordinary Chinese, and show the spiritual outlook of the Chinese people in this era.

 

"China in Motion" is the Excellent Project of "Recording the New Era" of the National Radio and Television Administration, PRC, and has been selected into the "14th Five-Year Plan" documentary key topic planning.
